Seekers Temptation Teaser 1

Just then, a large 100 foot Darkling emerged from the trees staring down at us.
Our jaws dropped.
I was really wishing the others were here right now.  Alara was going to hear about this one soon.
I looked at Alara, who had a panic face,
“I blame you for this.” I told her.
Ten Darklings we could take, 50 maybe, but a 100 foot one…Not a chance!
“Wow, you are ugly.” I told it.
“What do we do?’ Alara asked, getting my attention. “Fight?’
“Run like Cowards.” I said.
Alara nodded.
“Good plan,” She told me.
Alara then brought up a boulder a few feet away and used her powers and threw the rock at him hard, sending him backwards a few feet.
I raised my hands, causing my Ice to seep up his legs from the ground.
He started to panic, kicking and stomping at the Ice.
“I thought we were running away like cowards.”  Alara said to me.
“Were about to.” I said to her. “I just wanted to make sure he can’t get us!”
“Then what’s the point in running away?” Alara asked.
“So I could salute him and call him a Pansy.” I stated before turning and running off.
Alara quickly followed behind me.
